This bustling spot has swiftly established itself as one of Brisbane's must-visit destinations, combining exceptional coffee with a warmth that makes every visit feel like catching up with old friends.

The atmosphere at Salt is lively and welcoming, filled with the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee beans and the sounds of happy chatter. Customers are often greeted by the warm smiles of the dedicated staff, who manage to keep the service fast and efficient even during peak hours. As one enthusiastic patron, Alexa Janoschka, noted, it’s remarkable how this café can handle a full house while still ensuring that each order is delivered piping hot in their iconic hot pink cups.

But let’s talk about the star of the show—the coffee. Salt Coffee Roasters serves up a selection of expertly crafted brews made from high-quality beans that are meticulously sourced. The passionate baristas are not only skilled but also eager to customize your drink to your liking. On the food front, the café does not disappoint. Guests rave about the delicious options available, including the heavenly chili scrambled toast, which bursts with flavor and showcases the chef’s expert touch, and the indulgent scrambled eggs paired with crunchy, perfectly toasted sourdough.

And if you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss out on their mouth-watering cookies. As Lidia shared in her review, the combination of their exquisite cappuccino topped with real chocolate and an ever-changing array of Agnes products will leave your taste buds dancing.

However, be forewarned—if you’re visiting on a busy weekend, it's wise to arrive early if you're craving a pastry, as they tend to run out quickly. As noted by another customer, while Salt Coffee Roasters is certainly one of the top options in the area, it's essential to plan ahead if you want to enjoy their delightful baked goods.

Salt. Coffee Roasters: A Must-Visit for Coffee Lovers Salt. Coffee Roasters is an absolute gem in Brisbane. My recent visit was a perfect example of how a packed cafe can still deliver an exceptional experience. Even with dozens of customers ordering, the baristas and managers were on fire, getting orders out hot and fast in their signature hot pink cups. The atmosphere, despite the crowd, was buzzing in the best way. Everyone seemed to be there for their caffeine fix, creating a lively and welcoming vibe. My small flat white was well worth the 10-minute wait. The coffee itself was exceptional—rich and perfectly brewed, a testament to their in-house roasting. What truly made the experience memorable was the owner, Zac. He was the man "zooming around," personally delivering coffees with a smile. I had a chance to chat with him, and his great Australian humor and genuine passion for the business were infectious. He joked about being "a chook with its head cut off," but he was running the place with an impressive grace. Salt. Coffee Roasters is more than just a cafe; it's a testament to great service and an amazing product. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy another spectacular coffee and chat with Zac again.

Awesome coffee and food. It’s sometimes difficult to find a place that offers both with such a good quality. At Salt you have the best cappuccino with real chocolate, and a variety of Agnes products that changes daily. We ate scrambled delicious eggs so creamy and tasty with the best sourdough toast. The bacon was crispy as well. And couldn’t miss the opportunity for the epic cookie.

Not the best option in the area, but it’s really a good café. Friendly staff, good quality coffee, and reasonable prices. The only downside is that their pastries run out quickly since. So if you come on weekends after 10 and want a pastry with your coffee, this is not the place.

Food was delicious, a variety of different options as well. The service was fast - there was a large line but they were so efficient that the wait time wasn’t bad at all. Would go back to try the coffee and a few more meals!

One of my absolute favorite cafés! Of course, the coffee is excellent, but what I love most is their chili scrambled toast, freshly prepared by the chef in the small open kitchen. It’s such a simple dish, yet you can really see the chef’s skill shining through. They serve everything on beautiful antique-style plates that feel like something from a grandmother’s house, which adds so much charm and shows great taste. On top of that, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. A café I’ll keep coming back to

Top-notch coffee — had the cappo, flat white, and a black coffee over a few visits, and they all hit the mark. Foods solid too — banana and peanuts combo? Surprisingly yum. They’ve got “another?” written cheekily at the bottom of the cup, but nah, didn’t fall for it… even though it was my third cup there haha. Only downer was the grumpy cashier — looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. Hope their day gets better, but hey, the coffee makes up for it.

We visited this cafe on a Sunday & they were serving coffee in takeaway cups only. The coffee was very good, smooth & flavoursome, just not a fan of takeaway cups. Service was fast & efficient. Seating mainly outside & can be noisy

Coffee was delicious!! It looked really busy from the outside, but there were still plenty of seats. Staff were friendly, coffee tasted delicious, the seats were soft (I love that!), and the coffee was in a pink cup. Happy. I’ve been twice this week, will definitely be a new spot
